Kirsten has over a decade of experience working with individuals, groups, and families. She holds a Masters degree in Counseling from Texas Woman's University and a Doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of North Texas. Kirsten specializes working with clients who have experience complex trauma, survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and individuals who are experiencing life's everyday struggles. Kirsten uses an existential-humanistic approach to counseling that helps clients explore their own personal identity, purpose, and meaning.
Kirsten is also a full time professor of counseling at University of Oklahoma Online and provides Clinical Supervision to LPC-Associates in Texas. Finally, she has completed a 26-hour Expert Witness Training with a focus on domestic violence, sexual assault, and trafficking cases through University of Texas School of Law.
